The Association was established in July 2020 with the aim of supporting and promoting design, collaborating with government and educational institutions, protecting intellectual property, cooperation between members and raising general awareness about design among the general public.

The Association will promote industrial design as an integral part of innovation and as a tool for competitiveness. It will seek closer cooperation with state and educational institutions, and defend the interests and intellectual rights of its members. The Association will promote industrial design among the general public and thus restore pride in Czech manufacturers.
