Czech Design in Milan: What Will AČPD Members Showcase at Salone del Mobile 2026?
At this year’s edition of Salone del Mobile (21–26 April 2026), a strong line-up of members of the Association of Czech Industrial Design will present their latest work. Brands including Brokis, Preciosa Lighting, Ravak, Todus and TON will showcase the diversity and current direction of Czech design on the world’s most prestigious stage for furniture and interiors.
Every year, Salone del Mobile transforms Milan into a global hub of creativity, where manufacturers, designers and the wider public come together to explore new ideas and trends. Czech companies arrive with a clear message: from experimental lighting to innovative bathroom concepts and contemporary furniture design, Czech design continues to evolve while building on strong foundations.
Brokis
Brokis will present BEACON, an installation by leading British designer Lee Broom. This monumental lighting object brings a sculptural presence into public space, following its debut at the London Design Festival. Inspired by Brutalism and the legacy of the 1951 Festival of Britain, the installation works with upcycled glass and reinterprets street lighting as a large-scale chandelier. Sustainability plays a key role – after the exhibition, the installation can be dismantled into individual lighting pieces. Visitors can experience it at Piazza San Babila in central Milan as an open artwork accessible to the public.
Preciosa Lighting
Preciosa invites visitors into an immersive installation titled Drifting Lights, where light and colour become carriers of emotion. The installation creates a dynamic, almost living environment – light flows, blooms and transforms in response to the viewer. At its core is the exploration of colour as a primary medium shaping both design and atmosphere. The exhibition is located in the Brera Design District, Foro Buonaparte 68.
Ravak
Ravak will present In Foam at the International Bathroom Exhibition, building on the motif of white bubbles as a spatial concept. At the centre stands a block of natural stone featuring the Varia tap collection by the Vrtiška & Žák studio, complemented by hand-cut crystal from Rückl. The installation highlights a striking contrast of materials – glass, stone and water – with a strong emphasis on tactile experience. Additional highlights include new concepts such as ARC and the iMagin toilet with a magnetic system. The exhibition can be found in Hall 6, Stand D35/D37 (Fiera Milano, Rho).
Todus
Todus introduces the modular outdoor seating system Kori, designed to bring indoor comfort outside. Its key feature is a flexible system including unconventional pentagonal modules, allowing for organic and highly adaptable configurations. Designed by Studio Segers, the collection balances softness, comfort and visual lightness with the durability required for outdoor use. The combination of comfort and architectural flexibility is its defining feature. On display in Hall 7, Stand C06 (Fiera Milano, Rho).
TON
TON will unveil a new concept rooted in its mastery of bentwood, combined with oak elements that highlight the natural grain and fluidity of form. The installation also reflects the brand’s 165-year heritage and continuous evolution. The main attraction is a new product currently being revealed only in hints – presented as the essence of TON’s design approach. Visit Hall 24, Stand D36 (Fiera Milano, Rho).
Together, these presentations demonstrate the breadth of Czech design today – from experimentation and innovation to craftsmanship and tradition – all within a global context where quality and originality remain key.
